[SDNY] Mahmud Faruq Brent, a paramedic living in the Baltimore, Maryland area, was arrested on charges of conspiring to provide material support to the Pakistan-based Lashkar e Taiba. Brent allegedly attended a terrorist training camp in Pakistan. In July 2007, Brent was sentenced to 15 years for providing material support to a terrorist organization.
