Al Qaeda

[EDVA] In 2003, Iyman Faris, a Kashmiri native, pled guilty to an al Qaeda plot to destroy the Brooklyn Bridge. Faris met with Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda leaders in a jihad training camp in Afghanistan in 2000. A denaturalization lawsuit was subsequently filed against Faris for unlawfully procuring his U.S. citizenship.
