[MDPA] A federal grand jury in the Middle District of Pennsylvania charged Michael Curtis Reynolds with offering to help al Qaeda blow up oil pipelines and refineries, a plot he allegedly hatched in a Yahoo Internet chat group. Reynolds was convicted of attempting to provide material support to al Qaeda. Reynolds resided in Pocatello during the Internet discussions which led to his arrest. Reynolds possessed illegal weapons in a locker in Wilkes-Barre, PA, for which he was later convicted.
