[SDTX] A November 2006 federal indictment accused Kobie Williams and Adnan Mirza of wanting to join the Taliban and to fight U.S. forces in Pakistan. Williams was sentenced to four and a half years in prison after his November 2006 guilty plea to conspiracy charges related to raising money for the Taliban and gun charges. Adnan Mirza was sentenced to 15 years in prison for unlawfully possessing firearms and conspiring to provide material support to the Taliban.
