[EDNY] Noureddine Malki pleaded guilty to using a false identity to obtain a position as an Arabic translator with the U.S. Army and for illegally procuring classified national defense documents concerning the Iraqi insurgency. In August 2012 Malki was re-sentenced to 108 months' imprisonment for unauthorized possession of classified documents concerning Iraqi insurgency and for using a false identity.
