[WDTN] Bassam Darwishahmad was indicted for not disclosing to immigration authorities that he was recruited by an arm of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1990 to bomb an Israeli police station in Nablus, West Bank. He pleaded guilty to making false statements on immigration documents and was sentenced to prison time.
