[LA Superior Court] The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by victims of terrorism in Israel alleges Bank of China Ltd. transferred millions of dollars to terrorist group Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The suit claims the money helped fund attacks between 2004 and 2007. In July 2011, a judge in the Supreme Court of the State of New York ruled that the lawsuit filed by 84 Israeli terror victims against the Bank of China can proceed. A ruling by the Appellate Division on September 17, 2013 reaffirmed the Supreme Court decision that the lawsuit can proceed.
