Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC)

[SDNY] Oumar Issa, Harouna Toure and Idress Abelrahman were arrested in Africa by Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents following a cocaine sting operation. The men were linked to al Qaeda. An indictment issued in 2009 charged the men with conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, namely Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), and the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC). The indictment alleged that they were a part of a narco-terrorism conspiracy. Oumar Issa pleaded guilty to providing support to Al Qaeda and FARC.
