[DNJ] Nader Saadeh, a former resident of Rutherford, NJ, is charged with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Saadeh lived in Rutherford prior to leaving the U.S. in May 2015 to join ISIL. His brother, Alaa Saadeh, a resident of West New York, NJ, was earlier charged with conspiring to provide material support to ISIL. Nader pleaded guilty to conspiring to provide material support to ISIL and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
