[DMN] Mohamed Abdullah Warsame is a Canadian citizen of Somali descent living in Minnesota who is accused of traveling to Afghanistan and Pakistan and attending Al Qaeda training camps. Warsame has been in custody since late 2003. Warsame pleaded guilty to a single charge of conspiring to provide material support and resources to al Qaeda. In July 2009, Warsame was sentenced to 92 months for conspiring to aid Al Qaeda.
