[NDTX] A Jordanian citizen living illegally in the small town of Italy, Texas attempted to blow up a skyscraper in downtown Dallas. Hosam Maher Husein Smadi has been arrested and charged in a federal criminal complaint with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. Smadi pleaded guilty to a felony offense related to his attempted bombing in September 2009. Smadi was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
