Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)
[DDC] Lawsuit filed against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bank of China and others under the Anti-Terrorism Act. The lawsuit was filed by victims of terrorism perpetrated by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). In May 2012, the court issued a $332 million judgment against the governments of Syria and Iran for sponsoring PIJ, the terrorist group responsible for the 2006 killing of American teenager Daniel Wultz in a suicide bomb attack on a Tel Aviv restaurant on April 16, 2006.
