[WDTX] Army Pvt. Naser Jason Abdo, an absent without leave (AWOL) soldier from Fort Campbell, KY, is charged with possession of an unregistered destructive device in connection with plotting an attack against soldiers at Fort Hood in 2011. Abdo was found guilty on all charges filed against him. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences, plus 60 years in prison for plotting to bomb and shoot Fort Hood soldiers. In August 2013, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court upheld Abdo's conviction and sentence.
