Islamic Jihad Union (IJU)

[DCO] Philadelphia resident Bakhtiyor Jumaev was charged by criminal complaint in the District of Colorado with one count of conspiracy to provide material support to the Islamic Jihad Union (IJU). According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, Jumaev and his associate Jamshid Muhtorov, who has been charged in a separate complaint, pledged support for the IJU and Jumaev sent funds to Muhtorov, specifically intended for the IJU. Jumaev and Muhtorov were both found guilty of providing material support to the Islamic Jihad Union.
