USA v. Daoud, Adel

[NDIL] Adel Daoud was arrested in an FBI sting operation for attempting to bomb a bar in downtown Chicago. He was charged on one count of attempt to use a weapon of mass destruction and one count of attempt to damage and destroy a building by means of an explosive. According to the complaint, Daoud used e-mail accounts to obtain and distribute material relating to violent jihad and killing of Americans. In August 2013, Daoud was charged in a separate indictment for allegedly soliciting the murder of an undercover FBI agent.
