Hizballah

[EDMI] Mohammad Hassan Hamdan was charged with providing material support to the terrorist group Hizballah. In March 2014, Hamdan attempted to fly to Lebanon and onto Syria to fight on behalf of Hizballah in the Syrian civil war. Hamdan pleaded guilty to lying about travel to fight for Hizballah. Hamdan was sentenced to 63 months for making false statements to federal agents in relation to a terrorist organization and ordered deported from the United States to Lebanon upon completion of his sentence.
