[EDNY] Donald Ray Morgan was arrested at New York's Kennedy Airport and indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm. At his bail hearing, prosecutors reportedly alleged Morgan, who also goes by Abu Omar al Amreek, was possibly trafficking in guns to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The case has been transferred to the Middle District of North Carolina. In October 2014, Morgan pleaded guilty to attempting to aid ISIS. Morgan was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
