[DCO] Shannon Conley, a convert to Islam, was charged with attempting to help the terrorist organization, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). In September 2014, She pleaded guilty to provide material support to a designated terrorist organization. In January 2015, she was sentenced to 48 months in federal prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.
