[CDCA] Soheil Omar Kabir, a naturalized U.S. citizen, who was born in Afghanistan and who until late 2011 resided in Pomona and Ralph Deleon of Ontario, a lawful permanent resident and citizen of the Philippines, were each sentenced to 25 years in prison for providing material support to terrorists and plotting to kill American targets in Afghanistan.The men sought to join al-Qaida and Taliban and wage jihadi attacks on U.S. military bases and personnel in Afghanistan.
