Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)

[WDNY] Emanuel Lutchman of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Lutchman pleaded guilty to providing material support to ISIL. In Jan. 2017, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 50 years of supervised release for conspiring to provide material support to ISIL. According to the complaint, as part of Lutchman's attempt to provide material support to ISIL, he planned to kill innocent civilians on New Year's Eve in the name of the terrorist organization
