[NDFL] Robert Blake Jackson of Pensacola, FL, was charged with making false statements in an investigation of online postings related to the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant (ISIL). According to the complaint, Jackson made postings on Facebook expressing support for ISIL. In addition to espousing violence online, he also searched the Internet for materials related to ISIL, Al Qaeda, and Anwar al-Awlaki. Blake denied posting pro-ISIL statements or espousing violence online in statements made to federal authorities investigating the case.
