Egyptian Islamic Jihad; Al Qaeda

[SDNY] Adel Abdel Bary was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his conviction on international terrorism charges in connection with his work on behalf of Al Qaeda and the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Bary was extradited to the U.S. from the U.K. in Oct. 2012. Bary was a member of the London cell of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad and worked closely with Al Qaeda's leadership to disseminate Al Qaeda threats against U.S. citizens and interests around the world.
