Citizens for Quality Education San Diego, along with the San Diego Asian Americans for Equality Foundation and several parents sued the San Diego school system to block an anti-bullying campaign being implemented by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). This brings an inherently religious program into the public schools, the lawsuit alleges, and sets up "a subtle, discriminatory scheme that establishes Muslim students as the privileged religious group within the school community."
