[DHI] Ikaika Kang, an active duty soldier assigned to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, was indicted for attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Kang was from Waipahu, Hawaii. Kang pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS. Kang was sentenced to 25 years in prison for attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
