Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS)

[SDFL] Vicente Adolfo Solano, a citizen of Honduras residing in Miami, was charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction in a planned attack at a shopping mall in Miami. In videos Solano provided a confidential government informant, he expressed anti-U.S. sentiments and made statements in support of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). He also expressed a desire to join ISIS. In March 2018, Solano pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS. He was sentenced to 210 months for attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
