[EDCA] Everitt Aaron Jameson of Modesto, CA, was charged with attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organization. In his online interactions and communications with government undercover agents, Jameson expressed support for the October 31, 2017 terrorist attack in New York City and offered to carry out violent attacks as well as provide financial support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). He pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS and was sentenced to 15 years in prison and a life term of supervised release.
