Silver Spring, MD
Homegrown
[DMD] Christopher Paul Hasson, a U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant, was arrested on charges of illegal gun possession after authorities found more than a dozen firearms, ammunition and a hit list of Democratic lawmakers, activists and media personalities in his Maryland home. The government said Hasson had been stockpiling weapons since at least 2017 and recently developed a spreadsheet of targets that included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other prominent Democratic officials, journalists and pundits. The list also included Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D., Conn.), to whom Hasson referred as "Sen blumen jew," and former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Hasson pleaded guilty on Oct. 3 to four federal charges, including unlawful possession of unregistered silencers, unlawful possession of firearm silencers unidentified by serial number, possession of firearms by an addict to and unlawful user of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance.
