As far as one comment, "keep your enemy (sic) closer." - No, No, No! You don't appoint judges who are enemies to "keep them closer" -- in the first place, once a judge is appointed, he's not "close" to the governor -- and what about the next governor, and the next? Secondly, you make appointments because you trust the philosophy and integrity of the appointee to uphold our constitutional principles. Clearly, this is a questionable choice, at best, and a terrible choice, at worst.
