I cannot make a similar statement and truthfully and/or logically state: "The sun and what it means to us!!" and give a non-applicable description: "Small cold cube ~-666ºF that could only be seen under a microscope." To be truthful and exact, I'd have to give the definition; not "assign a definition definition to it'!

Allow me to give the exact definition to taqiyya, in detail:

taqiyya (ta-kee'-yah) v. to hide one's faith for fear of death (PERIOD--there are no additional meanings to this word)!!

This practice is used exclusively by some of the Shia sect of Islam (btw, the Shia represent only a small minority of the Muslim community worldwide).

Did you know.....

- that most Muslims never even heard of the word "taqiyya" until Islamaphobes began to misuse that word?

- that there is no such concept (as "taqiyya") in all other sects (the overwhelming majority) of Islam?

- the way Islamaphobes abuse that word, you can now see how inapplicable that word in in the context Islamaphobes use it?

Ok. You've now been schooled on the proper definition of taqiyya, who uses the concept, exclusively and how it is applied. Do yourselves and your fellow Islamaphobes a favor and share the truth with them that I've just shared with you.

Afterall, you wouldn't want to keep the truth from being known, would you?
