Reading the comments that are visible (above), I cannot help but believe they were written -- not by supporters of the US policy of preemptive strikes -- but by members of the ACLU. Their never ending attacks on the people most committed to protecting this country have never changed. They are just detrius we have to put up with while the rest of us fight for our country, our lives, and those of our fellow citizens -- them included.
Not mentioned was the fact that Hassan Nidal was also in communication with Awlaki before he comitted mass murder of fellow American soldiers at Ft. Hood.
As usual, the apologists and critics would rather undermine the postive steps toward elimination of a deadly foe and pretend there is no danger, then sit back after some deadly incident and pontificate from the safety of their arm-chairs.
Awlaki fled the United States for a reason.The United States took him out for the same reason.
