PS: Suttee (the Hindu practice of women self-immolating themselves) only appeared in Hindu traditions as an act of defiance against their Mughal (muslim) overlords during the muslim rape-wars in India. I imagine the Sikhs' lesser penchant for honour killings (which derive from Hinduism) result from the same traditions.
