The problem is when old books of stories are taken literally. The stories are meant to be understood as metaphors. People inflict damage on people's lives everywhere because they take the bible and quran literally. Remove religion and this would not be happening. Unfortunately most people are not intelligent enough to deal with religion at the metaphorical level so we mayhem. I'm sure this will upset everyone that isn't smart enough to realize that books written 1,000 to 2,000 years ago, meant to give people a sense of security, are nothing more than fabricated stories. Whoever put them in the non-fiction section made a massive mistake and it's what Christians, Muslims and Jews have in common: ignorance.
