I agree with Qanta Ahmed that you efforts are intrinsically Islamophilic -- and that is also a problem. It is a problem because it prevents us from understanding that the problem with Islamism is really a problem with Islam itself. Islamism is merely the political expression of the political doctrines and commands contained in the Koran and the Sunnah. Therefore, Islamism is not separable from Islam. We cannot deal with the problem of Islamism without dealing with Islam, itself. Qanta Ahmed, Jasser and a fistful of others are kidding themselves and kiddling ignorant non-Muslims by saying or implying that Islamism can be separated from Islam. The totalitarian, theocratic, supremacist doctrines of Islam do not change merely because a few good people like Qanta Ahmed and Zuhdi Jasser do not follow those doctrines.
