ISIS is after money and power
Reader comment on item: Analysis: Does the Islamic State Really Have 'Nothing to Do with Islam'?
Submitted by Grand1, Dec 6, 2014 02:43
ISIS/ISIL/IS has nothing to do with religion. They want oil money and the power it can give them. That is why they went after the refineries in northern Iraq. The self-proclaimed Caliph wants to be king and have all the money the oil generates. Money can buy power and power can get money.
Do not for a minute believe that these animals want to spread the good word of Islam or convert infidels. They either get what they want or the kill whomsoever opposes them. Their genocide is to eliminate potential opposition, not to cleanse Islam of non-believers. No one goes on such a crusade for moral reasons.
They are all about money and power and they do not recognize state sovereignty. They are the ebola of Islam.
