Reader comment on item: Someone Tell The President We Can't Fight Radical Islam By Being Politically Correct
Submitted by Carl Goldberg, Nov 16, 2015 16:40
When will good people on our side realize that we cannot fight "radical Islam" by calling it "radical Islam"? Islam is neither radical nor non-radical. As Turkish president Erdogan said, "Islam is neither moderate nor immoderate. Islam is Islam, and that's it."
Islam is the Koran and the hadiths, and they do not come in radical or non-radical versions. If we think we are fighting "radical Islam", we are deluded because there is no such thing. Islam -- the Koran and Muhammad -- is the problem, and we need to call the devil by his name. Islam is taught and preached in every mosque. That is the source of the evil.
