He is a main-stream muslim making the claims of main-stream muslims. He is absolutely correct regarding American support for authoritarian regimes which oppress their own peoples, such as the Saudy dynasty, the Mubarack regime, the PLO regime, and the Hashemite kingdom-tyranny. The only justification for US behaviour is Oil, and as soon as Oil is irrelevant (2020 by some recokonings) the US sponsorship of the authoitarian oil-shiekdoms will dissolve, leaving the ME to solve its own problems without US intervention
